Everyone knows education is important, but what a difference it can make when education comes alive! That's why MTV's very own Andrew Jenks decided to stop by a film class . . . unexpectedly!
Jenks Tweeted:
Student tweeted me, asked me to speak to her film class. I looked up the school. And surprised them. Best day ever. pic.twitter.com/uH73MdCrTh

He doesn't say what school he went to, but the pic does reveal how excited the students were. Think about it: how would you feel if you were going to school for something you feel super passionate about, and then your idol in the field just walked into your class? "Cool," "OMG" and "freakin' sweet" don't even begin to cover it.
And while Jenks doesn't divulge what exactly he said to the class, we all know he's really dedicated to helping young filmmakers like himself go far in their careers and their passions. Case in point: didja catch our MTV Act coverage of his involvement with the All-American High School Film Festival? It's not too late to submit a film, and if your film does well, you might even get to meet Jenks. You could get a lil one-on-one tutoring by talking to him, if ya know what I mean. Film is a great way to be creative and continue your education, and our man Jenks is there to root you on all the way.
So check out the All-American High School Film Festival, and remember how important it is to be ambitious with your learning and your education (and your creativity!). 'Cause maybe someday your idol will walk into your classroom.
Hey, it's happened before!
