We here at MTV Movies Blog are in full Oscars mode in preparation for Sunday night. We've seen the movies and have read as many prediction pieces as we can get our hands on, but we also appreciate that not everyone is as familiar with this year's field of contenders as we are.

That's why we found this Oscar rap from The Roots so helpful.

Over on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," the house band took a request from a viewer and put together an Academy Awards rap to catch any Oscars novices up in time for the big awards on Sunday.
