For years, Leonardo DiCaprio has had two jobs: being an A-list Hollywood actor and saving the world. (Three jobs if you count being SUCH a heartthrob.) But now Leo is taking time off from acting and getting even more dedicated to helping the environment and the species that live in it.

Leo is a huge supporter of WWF's Hands Off My Parts campaign, which works to stop the poaching of elephants, rhinos and tigers. Annually, tens of thousands of elephants are killed only for their tusks, and each day one or more rhinos are killed for their horns (partly due to the mistaken belief that their horns can cure cancer and hangovers). Tigers are also in bad shape: there might only be 3,200 left in the wild, but they are still being killed for their fur.

There are different ways you can help, like donating or signing a petition to ask Thailand to ban the trade of ivory. And Leo's just getting started. He's talking about retiring indefinitely from acting, but before you bawl your eyes out, check out what he'd like to do instead.

"I would like to improve the world a bit," he said. "I will fly around the world doing good for the environment."

In addition to traveling around the world, he's also doing a lot at home. "My roof is covered with solar panels," he said. "My car is electric. A normal person does not drive more than 50 kilometers a day. That can be done with a plug." If being awesome is a job, that's another one he has.
