Is it just me, or are the 2013 Oscar nominees a ridiculously good-looking giving, big-hearted bunch?
No but srsly -- if the winners of best actor and actress were decided in a mud-wrestling match, I'd tune in to watch Hugh Jackman and Bradley Cooper go at it. And of course Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain would be the highlight. Literally. The girl on fire vs. the girl with the fiery hair! Alright, enough with the objectification. We all know it's what's on the inside that counts, and all of the following nominees deserve Oscars for their big parts and big hearts.
+ Best Actor nominee, Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper's moving role in "Silver Linings Playbook" quickly transformed him from the hot guy in "The Hangover" into a serious Oscar contender. "Silver Linings Playbook" gives a much-needed voice to people living and struggling with bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses.

"The Master" actor Joaquin Phoenix is on the board of directors for The Lunchbox Fund, a non-profit organization that provides daily meals to students in Soweto, South Africa.

As if "Les Miserables" actor Hugh Jackman couldn't get any hotter to the ladies, he recently announced that his charitable coffee and tea company Laughing Man Worldwide will now be offering fair trade, rain forest-certified chocolates! All of Laughing Man Worldwide's revenue goes back to education, community development, and new business development.

Jennifer Lawrence -- Bradley Cooper's co-star in "Silver Linings Playbook" -- often speaks out about Hollywood's distorted perception of what is beautiful. "I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, not thin and underfed," she told Elle about how she trained for "The Hunger Games." "I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner.'"

Amy Adams supports the Elton John AIDS Foundation; however, she did her very best charity work last year, when she gave Justin Timberlake life-saving mouth-to-mouth on the set of their movie "Trouble with the Curve," pictured below. She's nominated for her supporting role in, "The Master."

Last winter, Anne Hathaway and hubby Adam Schulman were spotted buying stuffed animals and children's books for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Anne is considered a shoe-in for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Les Miserables."

Nominated for her Bond theme song "Skyfall," Adele is a huge supporter of her boyfriend's charity Drop4Drop, which provides clean, safe drinking water to people around the world.

As if making the whole world laugh weren't enough Seth MacFarlane created the Perry MacFarlane Animal Sanctuary in 2011 to honor his late mother, who was passionate about rescuing homeless animals. Seth wrote the lyrics for Best Original Song nominee "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" from "Ted."
