Earlier this week we shared JWOWW's Sweet Tweet about getting involved with the NOH8 campaign, and now her "Snooki & JWOWW" co-star Nicole Polizzi is tweeting about her continued efforts to help Sandy relief. Though a few months have passed, there's still a lot to be done. And Snooki's on it...tanning-style!

Yup, Snooki is doing her philanthropy at none other than a tanning salon:

I will be at @beachbumtanning this Saturday in Saddle Brook, NJat 11am. Help RESTORE THE SHORE, proceeds go to Hurricane Sandy Relief.

The first 500 attendees get a chance to buy Snooki's tanning products, as well as "Restore the Shore" merchandise. If they make a purchase, not only will they get to have their picture taken with Snooks, they'll sleep (or tan) well knowing that a portion of their proceeds is going toward Sandy relief. Now, if Snooki uses tanning to help her hometown isn't a perf fit, I don't know what is.

And this is far from the first time she's gotten involved in Sandy efforts. Snooki and her fellow castmates of "Jersey Shore" took part in MTV's "Restore the Shore" in November, where they were joined by cast members from other MTV shows, plus bands and other celebs. In the past few months, coverage of Hurricane Sandy has slowed down, but it's good to see Snooki using her fame to keep it in the limelight, because people living in the affected areas know that we're not out of the woods yet in terms of handling the damage. MTV is also gearing up for Spring Fix to help with Sandy relief -- do ya think Snooks might stop by?!
