"Django Unchained" is still weeks away from hitting theaters, but Quentin Tarantino is already talking about his future projects. At a Q&A after a recent BAFTA screening of the movie in London, Tarantino revealed that he'd one day like to film a gangster movie set in the 1930s.

"I could conceive maybe someday doing a 30's gangster picture, or something like that. I could think of doing another western, actually," he said according to Bleeding Cool.

This isn't the first time Tarantino has mentioned that project. In 2009, Variety reported that Tarantino wanted to follow up "Inglourious Basterds" with either a Western (we're guessing that turned into "Django Unchained") or a '20s/'30s gangster movie in the style of "Pretty Boy Floyd."

There's no guarantee that this will be Tarantino's next film, but it likely will be one of his last ones. During a recent interview with Playboy, Tarantino said that he wants to stop making films after he does 10 movies, and "Django" will be his seventh.

"I'm on a journey that needs to have an end and not be about me trying to get another job. I want this artistic journey to have a climax," he said. "I want to work toward something. You stop when you stop, but in a fanciful world, 10 movies in my filmography would be nice. I've made seven. If I have a change of heart, if I come up with a new story, I could come back. But if I stop at 10, that would be okay as an artistic statement."
