Elton John's a singer, songwriter and composer -- and now he's a writer! His first book, "Love Is the Cure: On Life, Loss, and the End of AIDS" is now available, and his friend Victoria Beckham is sure to pick up a copy. On top of that, the always stylish Spice Girl hopes you will, too!
In fact, sales from the book will benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Posh Spice sang out to Twitter:

The EJAF does major work to combat HIV/AIDS and take away the stigma sometimes associated with people who have been diagnosed positive. Sir Elton's lost a number of his friends to the virus, which he talks about in his new book. According to the book description: "Love Is The Cure is Elton's personal account of his life during the AIDS epidemic, including stories of his close friendships with Ryan White, Freddie Mercury, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, and others, and the story of the Elton John AIDS Foundation."
Besides his book, Sir Elton has other ways to raise money for people with AIDS, like his annual White Tie & Tiara Ball that "Teen Wolf" star Colton Haynes recently attended. And Victoria's into helping people, too. Just recently she and her fellow Spice Girls Geri, Emma, Mel B and Mel C have been going to their closets to get out some of their awesome clothes for a charity auction. Remember all the jokes in "Spice World" about Victoria's little Gucci dresses? Yeah, you might be able to own something like that. Who'd have thunk you could help charities out by buying books and clothes?
