Yesterday's AIDS Walk San Francisco was a smashing success, with about $2.7 million raised! Walkers got dedicated and got moving, and two oh-so familiar faces were def. in that crowd: "Glee's" Harry Shum Jr and "Sucker Punch's" Jamie Chung.
Both Harry and Jamie used Twitter to tell us about their fab work. First Jamie told us about it in advance and asked for donations (which you can still give, BTW):
I'm doing the SF Aids Walk this Sunday. Please donate if you are feeling extra generous:) Happy Friday! goo.gl/riaID

Then on Sunday Harry let us know in Twitterworld that he was roaring and ready to go:
Got my walking shoes on and heading to support the #aidswalksf!Hope to see some of y'all there!

Nearly 20,000 people took part in the uber important walk, but even in all those crowds Harry and Jamie were able to be together. Harry Tweeted a close-up pic of the two of them at the Walk, and Jamie happily Retweeted it so her Twitter followers could see it as well:
RT @iharryshum: Great seeing you @jamiechung1! #aidswalksfinstagr.am/p/NHNCUtHErj/" super fun!!!

And remember, even though AIDS Walk San Francisco already happened last weekend, it doesn't mean that they're no longer taking donations. Money raised goes to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and 46 other AIDS orgs that are in the Bay Area AIDS. These groups work to help people who already have HIV/AIDS, plus they do all they can to help prevent it. There are currently 1.2 million people in the U.S. with HIV/AIDS, and people like Harry, Jamie (and you!) can make a difference. You can still donate to help combat AIDS, and don't forget to keep on walkin'!
