Guidette and soon to be mama Snooki visited "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Wednesday night, where she and Newt Gingrich had...dare we say it...a moment?!

As they bonded over strippers and bestsellers, we realized the two surprisingly have a lot in common. No wonder they bonded so well. Here's 4 reasons they probz bonded so well:

+ Newt wants to colonize the moon. Snooki's baby bump looks as big as the moon on her petite frame. 

While running for President, Newt Gingrich vowed to establish a moon colony by 2020. It's a shame he pulled out of the race, 'cause we'd love to watch the cast of "Jersey Shore" fist pump in low gravity. But how would The Situation flaunt his abs in an astronaut suit?!

+ Snooki and Newt are both New York Times bestsellers! 

Gingrich's book "Real Change" is a New York Times bestseller; so is Snooki's book "A Shore Thing." Here's an except from the "A Shore Thing" book jacket, as it applies to presidential hopefuls:

"The cousins candidates soon realize that for every friend they make on the boardwalk campaign trail, there are also rivals, slummers, and frenemies who will do anything to ruin their summer shot at becoming President."

If only Newt read Snooki's book before hitting the campaign trail!

+ They make the same debate face.

Both Newt and Snooki are passionate debaters. I wouldn't wanna be on the receiving end of either of those index fingers!

+ Newt's down to visit the Shore house! 

Okay, not quite, but he didn't exactly say "no" to guest-starring on "Jersey Shore" spinoff  "Snooki and JWoww." When Leno asked Newt when he last got crazy drunk, he replied, "just thinking about coming on the show."

Although we probably won't catch Newt GTLing any time soon (and man, could he use a little "T"), we recently paid visit to the "Jersey Shore" house, where the entire cast was shooting a political vid for Funny or Die and Power of 12.
