Fans of Elisabeth Moss on AMC's "Mad Men" can breathe a collective sigh of relief as creator Matthew Weiner confirms the actress will be back as Peggy Olson for the show's sixth season.
Moss "is going to be on the show next year," Weiner told TV Line. "I can't say how much, in what capacity or what [her story] is going to be, but she has not left the show."

In the fifth season Peggy quits her job at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce and accepts an offer from a competing firm. Prior to her season five departure she had flirted with the idea of leaving and joining former Sterling Cooper ad man Duck Philips at his new firm, but chose to stay.
Peggy's career move was cause for concern because "when people leave Sterling Cooper, sometimes it is the end for [the character]," Weiner said.
Moss has earned Emmy nominations the last four years for her portrayal on "Mad Men" - in 2010 for outstanding supporting actress in a drama series and in 2009, 2011 and 2012 for outstanding lead actress in a drama series.
