According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, tea is the second most popular drink in the world, behind water and ahead of coffee, soda, juice, and the reason I have a headache most Sunday mornings (rhymes with "wodka"). But where do all of the used tea bags go? Ryan Seacrest's recent Tweet got us a thinkin'...

+ Under Eye Circles
Throw used tea bags in the fridge for an hour, and then rest them over your closed eyes for 10-15 minutes. The antioxidants in the tea (called tannins) will reduce puffiness and dark circles. I'm gonna try this lil trick the next time I get goldfish eyes after crying my eyes out over some jerk. Noooot a pretty site…
+ Exfoliate
Keep your used green tea bags in the fridge overnight. In the morning, use them as facial exfoliating pads. The bag will lightly exfoliate your skin, and the tea will soothe your sleepy face.
+ Reduce Redness
Cold, damp tea bags are great for treating poison ivy and insect bites. The tannins in tea neutralize the sting/itch. Tea can also help soothe sunburn and acne. I wonder if tea works for hickeys too??
+ No More Smelly Shoes
Got stinky feet? Dry out used teabags and keep 'em in your gym shoes when you're not wearing 'em. The tea scent will help neutralize your smelly kicks.
+ Fertilize your Garden
Bury teabags in your garden or at the base of a potted plant. Tea is filled with nutrients that can stimulate plant growth.
+ Accessorize
