Life can be $$$$, especially when you're first setting out on your own or paying for college. That's why DoSomething.org launched a new campaign today, The Craziest Thing I Did To Save Money.

Ever done something really cray in order to save some pennies? Like using your laptop as a cat bed or seriously stocking up on condiments to save money for college?! A lot of young people are stressed about their financial situation, but only 32% of high school students have ever talked to their parents in depth about their personal finance. DoSomething is asking you to share what crazy things you've done to save money, and you can upload photos about it on Facebook. But some people are going to be making things up, so you get to vote on whether you think it's true or BS. One lucky person will win a $4,000 scholarship by sharing their crazy story too!

DoSomething will also be sharing suggestions of better ways to save money. In addition to FB and their site, the org can send you  money-saving tips on your cell phone. Soon to be announced celebs are also going to be taking part in the campaign and talking about times when they were low on cash. Stars....they're just like us!

Figuring out how to handle your finances can be intimidating but DoSomething is here to help. And that's no BS!
