Sunday night wasn't just a big deal because of the Oscars -- it was also Elton John's Academy Awards Viewing Party, which benefitted his Elton John AIDS Foundation. A bunch of big names were there, including Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch from "Glee."

Turns out the Oscars wasn't the only place in town poppin' with stars. Elton's party included Nicki Minaj, Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Nicole Richie and former "Teen Wolf" star (and eternal EJAF supporter) Colton Haynes. Phew!
The guests got to chow down on delish food catered by Gordon Ramsay and take part in a beyond awesome auction. Items up for bid included a private concert from Sir Elton himself and a five-night vacation at Steven Tyler's house in Hawaii. More than six million dollars were raised for EJAF. Mind = blown.
Elton's def serious about the fight against AIDS, which is why EJAF supports things like HIV prevention programs and support programs for people who have HIV/AIDS. Last year, Elton even penned his first book, "Love Is the Cure: On Life, Loss, and the End of AIDS," with proceeds going to his foundation.
So why a charity event on the same night as Hollywood's biggest showcase? "[The event] gets the message out that the fight against AIDS isn't over," Elton explained. "We are still raising money for AIDS and AIDS isn't going away." And Matthew, Jane and co. are on it!
