The cast of "Jersey Shore" has been earning themselves some good karma this February. First JWOWW posed for the NOH8 campaign, then Snooki helped Sandy relief efforts (with tanning) and now Vinny Guadagnino has saved a dog's life by adopting it.
The animal lover Tweeted:
So I adopted this gorgeous girl from the #northshoreanimaleague today. You can do the same here… instagr.am/p/WGNseSqV7f/

Aww, too cute!
We knew before that DJ Pauly was a big animal lover when he teamed up with the ASPCA for a PSA. Wonder if he inspired his GTL BFF to get a dog too?! Vinny has not only given this adorbs puppy a great new home, but he's spreading the word about the North Shore Animal League, the globe's biggest no-kill animal rescue. It's saved more than a million animals since it opened in 1944! These days, they save about 20,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens annually. The North Shore Animal League is located in Port Washington, New York, but you don't have to be a local to help it. They take donations, and your $$ definitely makes a change -- from helping homeless animals find homes to ensuring wounded animals at the shelter are able to get surgery.
And if you're able to adopt a dog like Vinny (like you have the love, home and funds to properly take care of it), North Shore Animal League has got you covered. You see, you don't have to live in or by New York! If you go to the website, it'll help you find adoptable dogs and cats in your area if you plug in your zip code. You can follow Vinny's lead and help our animal companions find the loving homes they deserve! Maybe Vin's new pup will make a cameo on his upcoming new talk show, "The Show With Vinny." Can't you see Vinny, his mom Paula and Uncle Nino attempting to teach the dog Italian? Ha!
