The last time we saw Jack, he was a giant killer, and he did his thing with metal blaring in the background. Now, Jack's a giant slayer, and the whole affair looks a lot more like "Pirates of the Caribbean."

The new trailer for Bryan Singer's long-delayed "Jack the Giant Slayer" just debuted over at the iTunes trailer page, and when you watch it, you will see a very different version of the preview we saw earlier this year.

This preview gives us an actual idea of what the story is about, shows many of the giants referred to in the title, and introduces a love story.

"Jack the Giant Slayer" opens on March 1.
