In a few more months, we'll get our first look at "Fast & Furious 6." Appropriately, that reveal will take place during one of the most testosterone-filled events of the year.
Star Vin Diesel took to his Facebook account to reveal that the first look at the upcoming "Fast & Furious" movie will happen during Super Bowl XLVII, which airs on February 3, 2013. Though Diesel has been posting plenty of pictures from the "Fast & Furious 6" set, we haven't seen any official video thus far.
Considering how expensive Super Bowl commercials are, it doesn't seem likely that this reveal will be anything more than a TV spot. Still, if Diesel is to be believed, it is something we should all look forward to.
"Six years ago, we dared to dream that Fast and Furious could be something significant... special... And yet, I don't think anyone is prepared for what will happen on memorial day 2013," he wrote. "P.s. With as much talent as this production has... I am blessed to be a part of it... First look at Furious 6 will be at the Super Bowl."
The latest installment of the "Fast and the Furious" series stars Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Joe Taslim and Gina Carano. Directed by Justin Lin, this film is due in theaters on May 24, 2013. Hopefully we do get a teaser trailer before the February 3 Super Bowl, but if not, Diesel's Facebook reveals will have to be enough.
