It isn't the easiest time to get a job, and it can especially be difficult for college grads to get hired because due to the oh, you know, economy. But the Youth Entrepreneur Council (that's YEC to you) is hoping to help change that with #StartupLab.

YEC's been around for a couple years, and it aims to help Millennials with entrepreneurship dreams. Over Labor Day weekend (perf timing) it launched (with colleges, entrepreneurship and small business orgs, government agencies and Citi) its beta model of #StartupLab. If you want to get involved, they're offering four interactive live video chats each month, email lessons each week, and a whole "library" of YEC's helpful articles and videos. And it's all free!

By having #StartupLab online, it really allows you to "meet" all different sorts of people with similar mindsets. It should take just a few minutes to get yourself all set up there, and you'll also be able to access successful young entrepreneurs with a mentorship program they've got going on. According to an official press release: "Featured mentors in 2012 include Catherine Cook of MeetMe, Jennifer Fleiss of Rent the Runway, Slava Rubin of Indiegogo, to name just a few."
