We talk about keeping up with the Kardashians, but how about keeping up with the Jenners? Kendall Jenner, little sis to her famous older Kardashian sisters, has a cause she wants to share with all her Tweeps.
The 16-year-old reality star Tweeted:
in support of Logan, a SoCal baseball player with leukemia talbertfamilyfoundation.org/pages/Logan.ht…. Fundraiser september 30, at the daily method in calabasas
— Kendall Jenner (@KendallJenner) August 22, 2012
Looking at her Tweet, you might think Logan is a professional baseball player of some sort. Nope, he's just a kid with a passion for baseball. If you click on Kendall's link, you can learn more about Logan and his situation. It explains that Logan was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia (which means "acute lymphoblastic leukemia") in 2009 when he was only four-years-old. He began chemo right after doctors discovered the reason he hadn't been acting like himself.
Kendall lists a fundraiser at the end of September, and Logan's page mentions a run for him taking place in November. Even if you can't take part in either event, you can still make donations directly at the site.
In fact, Logan's being featured at the Talbert Family Foundation, which helps families struggling with financial difficulties because of an illness. All money earned goes straight to the families. You can check out Logan's page, but you can also look at the pages of other kids being featured at the TFF. Paying medical costs is no joke, and orgs like these are around to help with the major financial burden.
So keep up with Kendall and see what you can do to brighten a kid's day and help them on their road to recovery!
