It's time to do holiday shopping, and Avril Lavigne knows a way you can shop at your fave online stores and donate money to the Avril Lavigne Foundation, which helps kids with disabilities and serious illnesses. You don't have to donate anything extra, you just have to do your regular shopping. Are you sold yet?!

Of course we all remember Avril's rockin' charity-themed b-day and the interview she gave us about fundraising for her foundation. Now Avril wants to share her Giving Assistant with you, and it's super easy: download the Giving Assistant from her website. It takes a matter of seconds and costs nothing.

Then shop online at one of the partner websites, including Amazon, Gap, and Petco. There are hundreds of 'em partnered up! Once you've downloaded the Giving Assistant, you'll know which online stores are partner stores and which ones aren't. The partner stores will get a little star logo next to them when you go online. When you go on a partner site, there will be a new button that says "Make it Count." Click on that, and a portion of your purchase will go to Avril's foundation. The retailers give the donations, not you. You just download and shop till you drop!

This is all pretty sweet, but it gets sweeter. You can keep track of how much you've raised and earn "entries." Shopping and getting friends to join get you more entries, and all this helps you win prizes, like, for example, an Avril Lavigne prize pack which includes signed swag like her albums and clothes. Go, shoppers, go!
