We've got some good news for you today, Potterheads. While the ongoing rush of anticipation surrounding the release of a new Harry Potter installment has died down since the book-turned-film series wrapped up with last year's "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2," rumors have been swirling (like crazy) around the Internet about a ninth movie that's currently in the works—well, sort of.
The Sun recently reported that members of the HP cast were recently seen at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, UK, (where all eight of the films were shot) to film a "mini movie" that's set to play along with the attractions at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida and two new Hogwarts-themed parks that have yet to open to the public—one in California and another in Japan, scheduled to open in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
Brit actress Helena Bonham Carter, who is reportedly reprising her role as Belatrix Lestrange, was confirmed as one of the bunch seen on set. "The cast have really enjoyed getting back together – they are so tight-knit," a source told the UK tabloid.
To hold us over as we wait to find out if The Sun's reports are actually true, check out this video of Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and Oliver and James Phelps, (Fred and George Weasley) as they tour The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
