Production has stopped on the new season of "Arrested Development."
Please stop screaming. It's going to be okay. They've only paused production to they can film more episodes than they originally planned. See, good news.
Deadline reported that series creator Mitch Hurwitz and the gang were originally scheduled to wrap around Thanksgiving time, but it turns out that there was just too much good material to squeeze into the planned ten-episode arc. They're going to need somewhere between 12 and 15 episodes.
Netflix, 20th Century Fox Television, and Imagine TV all agreed to the expanded order, and we will now get ever more "Arrested Development" when it returns for a fourth season on streaming site this Spring!
