Ryan Seacrest is quite possibly the coolest man alive. Think about it: He's besties with Kim K (and, therefore, Kanye), he rubs shoulders with Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on "American Idol," AND the dude's got a front row seat at every awards show ever. But recently, Seacrest's awesome-factor was upped a notch.
He recently gave away a Ford Fusion in Times Square as part of the company's Random Acts of Fusion campaign. Who doesn't want a car...for free? Every day, for 47 days, Ford will pop up in a different part of the country (maybe with Seacrest!) to tell a cool story and show off its new Fusion car, which happens to be the most fuel-efficient mid-size car in the country (yay, environment!).
While in Times Square, I caught up with the "Idol" host (who also happens to be my Idol) and asked him some questions about the upcoming election, y'know, like, which Kardashian he'd choose as his VP! Instead of hand-picking just one sister, the host said, "That is such a big job, I'd ask to change the rules. It'd be the first 3-sister VP candidate ticket in history. It'd be the trifecta. We could certainly use the trifecta." Not a bad idea, huh? But then he quickly followed up with, "Kris Jenner would be a very good First Mom and First Lady. She's the First Lady of my universe!" So maybe a Seacrest/Jenner ticket is in the works for 2016?!
So what of their campaign song, I asked? "Might be 'Club Can't Handle Me Right Now'," said Seacrest. "Or for those girls, 'Country Can't Handle Me Right Now'."
Talk about one hell of a ticket! Until 2016!
