In 26 DAYS (!!!), Elizabeth Banks will be back on the big screen with "Catching Fire."  While IRL we don't have games set up where teens have to fight to the death, there is a serious issue going on with teens (and adults too) being killed or hurt because of texting while driving.

The Mother Jones article she links to explains that fatal car crashes because of cell phones are on the rise. This is from things like texting, chatting with your BFF, or reaching for your phone. Sadly, each day about a dozen teens die because of texting while behind the wheel. The Mother Jones articles lists off some other scary stats, like the fact that drivers are 23 times more likely to be in a crash if they're texting, or that in 2011, there were 21,000 people hurt in car crashes that happened because of cell phones.

The sobering reality is that it's best not to text while driving, for the sake of your safety and the safety of others on the road. If you need to text someone, you can pull over, or wait until you've reached your destination. With education and awareness, fewer people will be texting while driving, and we can bring those scary numbers down.

So while Elizabeth Banks doesn't exactly have a Sweet Tweet for us today, she does have a super important Tweet that can help thousands of people. Happy text-free driving everyone, and stay safe!
