What do Ian Somerhalder and Adam Levine have in common? Well, besides being ridiculously good-looking, both fellas just signed the Sierra Club's letter urging Obama to address climate disruption.
The letter reads, "Your legacy as 44th president of the United States rests firmly on your leadership on climate disruption. Only the president has the power to lead an effort on the scale and with the urgency we need to phase out fossil fuels and lead America, and the world, in a clean energy revolution." It was signed by many other big names including Linkin Park, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Alicia Silverstone.
Climate disruption is basically another term for global warming. Although global warming means more shirtless pics of Adam and Ian, the world's rising temperatures have many negative side effects like drought, hurricanes, and wildfires. The Sierra Club's letter was released leading up to its February 17 #ForwardOnClimate Rally in Washington, DC which will be the largest climate rally in history! Ian just Tweeted about the rally, so who knows?! Maybe you'll see him there next weekend.
