In a time when most of the comedy shorts online have a shelf life of about two days, it's something special to find a bit still relevant more than 20 years later. Especially when the message is this: "Die Hard" sequels are ridiculous.
In 1992, even before "Die Hard: With a Vengeance" hit theaters, "The Ben Stiller Show" decided it was time to point out how silly the premise of multiple John McClane movies is. How could many times could one man find himself in the middle of an international terrorist attack and hostage situation?
The sketch casts Stiller as McClane, doing one hell of a Bruce Willis impersonation, but this time the terrorists hit a grocery store on Christmas.
This is "Die Hard 12"!
