Jennifer Lopez likes to experiment with different colors in her music vids (get a load of those pink crystal lips in "Goin' In"!). But now she has something else colorful on her mind -- colors that can help Habitat for Humanity.
Yup, that actually makes perfect sense. The one and only J. Lo Tweeted:
Watch and share these celebrity color stories bit.ly/U9r0sW to help raise money for Habitat for Humanity. #valsparcolorproject
— Jennifer Lopez (@JLo) August 29, 2012
The Valspar Color Project is trying to earn $300,000 for Habitat for Humanity, and it's super easy to help out. You've just got to watch a vid. Yeah, ring a bell? It's kind of like that educational fundraiser Emma Roberts just talked about. You don't have to spend any of your own money, but a couple minutes of your time can help make a diff.
Jennifer's link sends you over to her site, and it explains a little bit more there. If you watch and share the short vid Valspar made, then money is donated to Habitat for Humanity. A few celebs are the faces for this project ('member when Elizabeth Banks Tweeted about Molly Sims's involvement?). La Lopez might not be an official spokesperson, but she still wants to see that money go to helping build houses for people in need.
Habitat for Humanity seems especially important now as part of the country is bracing for Isaac. The org says right on its homepage, "Habitat is monitoring the progress of hurricane Isaac and will assess its impact on affordable housing once it makes landfall." Now's a great time to get involved, and Jennifer knows it.
