Anticipation for the public launch of our Fantasy Election game has been building for a while now, but the wait is over!

Similar to Fantasy Football, Fantasy Election lets you draft a dream team of presidential and congressional candidates. But instead of gaining points for TDs and losing them for interceptions, your political players earn points for telling the truth and lose points for mudslinging. We're putting you in the driver's seat. YOU have the power to add and drop politicians -- just like on Election Day. Starting today everyone can compete for over 3,000 prizes -- including $25,000 and a trip to the VMAs. We've got a ton of other prizes, too -- tablets, gift cards, exclusive MTV content and much more.

This game isn't just about the prizes (although they are pretty sick) -- it's about demanding more from your politicians. We've partnered with some all-star organizations to track who's lying, who's disclosing their campaign donations, and who is engaging with the most important people -- you! The voter!

You can also get in on the action (and earn points in the process!) by checking into political events on foursquare, political T.V. shows on GetGlue (yep, that includes that episode of Colbert Report from last night!), and reading articles on BuzzFeed Politics, POLITICO, and much more.

So what are you waiting for? Get in the game. You can quickly create your own league or join an existing one. You can even start earning points right away with our Daily Challenges (including some old favs like our Democrat or Diva and Rapper or Republican quizzes).
