Hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season! If you spent the last few days anything like Mike Posner, then you spent it surrounded with plenty of friends. The singer-songwriter tapped into his Detroit roots by volunteering at the Friendship Circle of Michigan. Mike Tweeted:
Just got done volunteering at @fcmichigan winter camp, AMAZING place. Thanks for having us. instagr.am/p/TrFmRSPiVL/

The Friendship Circle offers aid and programs to families with special needs individuals. The center offers Jewish programs, which is a good fit for Mike, as well more general programs, like Inclusion Sports League, Music & Motion, Social Skills, Life Skills, Sib Nights and Teen Scene. Some of them cost money for people to get involved, and other programs, like the Holiday Program (which includes the holidays Chanukah and Purim) are free.
You can get involved, like Mike, even if you don't live in Michigan. You can find a similar center near you, or help spread the word about the Friendship Circle on social media. If you're near enough, you might be able to volunteer yourself! And, hey, maybe you'll run into Mike while you're there. He said that this org is AMAZING, and if it deserves all caps like that, it has to mean he'll want to volunteer again. Amiright?
