It's Christmas Eve! While you wait for Santa Claus's arrival, we know a few little celebrities who give Santa competition because they love to give so much. As part of the holiday season, let's take a look at stars who like to give back!
+ Selena Gomez
There's no way Selena is getting coal in her stocking. She's a mega UNICEF supporter, and she's gotten you all to be mega UNICEF supporters, too! When it comes to helping people, Ms. Gomez has stood strong with Malala for girls' education, taken part in the Global Citizen Festival, and visited a children's hospital with former bf JB. Selena's also shown her love for animals by getting behind Island Dog and Tweeting a pic of an adorable white puppy that needed to be adopted.
+ Mariah Carey
Mimi loves X-mas time! The "American Idol" judge is known for singing carols and dressing up in sexy Santa suits, but she's also big on giving back. Recent examples of do-goodism? Helping cancer patients with their self-esteem, wearing red and promoting heart health, and nursing hubs Nick Cannon back to health after he experienced mild kidney failure. Nick's big on helping out, too, so who wants to bet their twins will grow up to be big philanthropists?
+ Jessica Lowndes
Jessica Lowndes of "90210" is big on fighting diseases, and she knows ways you can be stylish while doing so. If you know where to look, there are quite a few jewelry-with-a-cause examples out there. Harnessing the power of Twitter, Jessica has shown us bracelets that fight cancer and MS -- and that's not all! She also helped during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by putting a signed saddle bag up for bid.
+ Ryan Gosling
Ryan Gosling has been on our MTV Act radar for a while, like when he joined the Enough Project to help stop violence. His work for the environment got him on our list for Sexy Environmentalists for Earth Day. You know what else is sexy? Breaking up fights. And Ryan's done that, too.
+ Katy Perry
Katy Perry's been one of our fave people this year, from her involvement with the Trevor Project (which led her to being honored by them!) to her encouraging people to vote (in style). We of course had to celebrate Katy on her bday for all her endeavors, but she used the day of her birth for another charity -- helping bring money into the David Lynch Foundation. Baby, she's a fiiirework!
Which Santa is your fave? Let us know in the comments!
