Turn on your consoles and break out the controllers, because the first official "Wreck-it Ralph" trailer has landed!
Directed by Rich Moore and featuring the voice of Oscar nominee John C. Reilly, "Wreck-it Ralph" centers on a video game villain (Reilly) who has been at it for thirty years—and he's getting sick and tired of being known as the bad guy.
"My name's Wreck-it Ralph. For thirty years I've been doing this, and it starts to feel hard to love your job when no one else seems to like you for doing it," Ralph mourns at the outset of the new trailer. "It sure must be nice being the good guy."
Ralph isn't alone in his sorrows. The trailer shows that he's been visiting support groups attended by other popular video game baddies, including Bowser from "Super Mario," Doctor Robotnik from "Sonic the Hedgehog," and M. Bison and Zangief of "Street Fighter" game.
"I'm Zangief. I am bad guy," the Russian bodybuilder admits. "But this does not mean you are bad guy!"
Those words only take Ralph so far, as he still feels unsatisfied with his status as a video game villain. So Ralph sets out for more heroic adventures, traveling through numerous games to find his way as one of the good guys—but along the way, he'll inadvertently unleash havoc in the video game universe by freeing an infamous bad guy.
The Disney animated picture, which also stars Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch, hits theaters on November 2.
