Despite utter zombie exhaustion, "Warm Bodies" has a premise we could potentially get behind. Sure, there's a lot of room for some cheeseball moments when you have a zombie falling in love and slowly becoming human again, but at least it's something different.

If you remain unconvinced that anything original can be done with zombies anymore, we suggest you check out the first four minutes, which Fandango just posted.

You'll be able to get a sense of what they're going for, and you'll get to see some Rob Cordry, which is always a good thing.

Official synopsis:

A funny new twist on a classic love story, Warm Bodies is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
